We are delighted to welcome back, label regular Vlaysin, for his second EP on the label, it seems like just yesterday the bomb EP "Ghetto Routine" dropped, with remixes by Scalameriya & Scenedrone, but hard to fathom, to me, that that was two and a half years ago. Vlaysin has featured since then, remixing Aemris, and also prior to that, remixing Swarm Intelligence, with some more planned, but this is his first full solo release on the Variance imprint. Bringing us on a different journey to his previous instalments on the label, Easy Like Pulizzi is diverse, yet remains signature to Vlaysin, his club bangers never let us down. Title track Easy Like Pulizzi is off the beaten track for sure, with its ghetto-tek vocals and those oh so sweet fat broken beat kicks that Vlaysin is famous for, a true floor filler, that would work in a multitude of genres.Second up is No Plan, this track is more of what we have come to expect from Vlaysin, four on the floor, banger, with busy percs, and solid progressions, with an evil, eerie synth dropping half way through that would tear a club to shreds. Black Hole Infinity continues this journey through Vlaysins repertoire, this time he opted for a more melodic number, keeping with those fat distorted kicks and busy percs, this track is highly effective, they synth progresses with intensity throughout, another one for the floor, but thats what Vlaysin does, and he does it especially well on this EP. Last but most certainly not least, we have Taking You Over, time for a hint of acid, with some crazy synth progressions to round off this journey through Vlaysins production styles, one thing i will say, is that you could play every single one of these tracks in a set and it would not sound like they are from the same artist, while at the same time his stamp is all over every track, Taking You Over is a great way to finish off, because I am certain by the time you have listened to this entire EP, it will of taken you over. Enjoy the latest Instalment on Variance by one of our favourite producers Vlaysin.
